Open Position: Automotive Restoration Technician/Fabricator

Perform comprehensive restoration and repair work on classic and vintage automobiles, including sheet metal work, mechanical repairs, and electrical. Fabricate or machine custom parts as needed Properly document all information about vehicles during repair or build process in Shop-Ware and keep accurate time clocks Ensure all vehicles are safely moved and positioned on all lift equipment. Maintain a personal tool set. Accurately diagnose issues with client’s vehicles. Attend weekly shop meetings. Work with the Office Manager and Foreman to procure parts needed and create estimates. Keep detailed records of all parts, fluids and time for each project in Shop-Ware. Maintain a clean and safe shop environment Assist other technicians and staff when needed. Utilize a variety of tools, equipment, and techniques to ensure precise and high-quality restoration work. Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines and deliver exceptional results. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and industry standards at all times

Proven experience in automotive restoration, with a focus on classic, vintage and custom vehicles. Proficiency in a wide range of automotive repair techniques, including welding, metal fabrication, and mechanical repairs. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering flawless craftsmanship. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Give and receive feedback Dedication to upholding quality standards and exceeding client expectations. Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities. Strong organizational skills. Knowledge of the proper order of operations in the restoration process Extensive automotive systems knowledge Strong familiarity with aftermarket parts for hot rods and classic cars Exhaust system design and fabrication, both compression bent and mandrel bent. Stainless and mild steel Brake and fuel system design and fabrication Sheet metal fabrication and rust repair Manual mill and lathe operation Complete vehicle wiring Proficient at welding of aluminum, stainless steel and mild steel, both TIG and MIG. Other metals and processes are a plus. Ability to work independently and demonstrate good follow through on tasks with little to no supervision. Take ownership of your tasks and responsibilities. Computer skills, to include the ability to use cloud based shop management software, labor guides, parts ordering, Google Suite and efficient search engine use. Ability to lift up to 50lbs, remain standing/kneeling/bending for large portions of the day

The majority of the Technician/Fabricator’s work will be spent participating in repairs, fabrication and maintenance of client’s vehicles. A standard 40-hour workweek applies. Some areas of the job site may be hazardous so protective gear should be worn when appropriate.

Open Position: Project Manager

The Project Manager is the operational hub of FFR. This role owns the coordination layer between the front office and the shop floor — managing project flow, parts execution, client communication, and daily job readiness so our technicians can focus on the build.

The PM reports directly to the General Manager. The Shop Foreman owns technical execution and floor supervision. The PM's lane is everything upstream: the right parts staged, the right information in the work order, and every client with a current update before they have to ask for one.

This is an execution-first role. The right candidate is detail-driven by nature, closes loops the same day, and operates from the assumption that something is wrong until confirmed otherwise.

Project & Job Flow Maintain real-time accuracy of all active project statuses in Shop-Ware Independently audit project progress weekly and escalate any job that has stalled Identify and resolve bottlenecks before they delay technician work Ensure every active job has a clear next step, owner, and timeline Parts & Vendor Management Verify all incoming parts upon receipt — inspect for damage, confirm against spec, flag discrepancies immediately Stage and label parts by job before technicians begin work Create purchase orders in Shop-Ware at the time of order, not retroactively Manage vendor follow-ups on open orders proactively — do not wait for delays to surface Coordinate sublet vendors (powder coat, upholstery, driveline, paint) from scheduling through delivery Technician Support & Job Readiness Ensure the Foreman and technicians have everything they need to execute before the workday begins Prepare tomorrow's work before the end of each day: parts confirmed, scope clear, instructions documented Eliminate the conditions that cause technicians to stop mid-job: missing parts, unclear instructions, unmade decisions Keep work orders in Shop-Ware complete, accurate, and current — notes, photos, scope Client Communication Send proactive project status updates to all active clients, minimum weekly Communicate delivery timing changes before the client has to ask Document and escalate unexpected findings or scope changes within 24 hours of discovery Support post-delivery client follow-up with the front office Reporting & Administration Deliver a weekly operations report to the GM covering project pipeline, parts status, and open items Review and verify billing spreadsheet accuracy before submission Track sublet invoices and ensure they are captured for billing Maintain clean Shop-Ware records across all active and completed jobs

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years in shop operations, service management, project coordination, or a closely related role Demonstrated ability to manage a parts workflow end-to-end: sourcing, ordering, receiving, verification, and staging Comfortable working in shop management software (Shop-Ware or a comparable platform) Proven track record of follow-through — tasks are closed, loops are completed, issues do not sit Strong written communication skills; client-facing updates must be clear, accurate, and timely Ability to manage competing priorities without losing detail on any of them Preferred Qualifications Experience in an automotive fabrication, performance, or restoration environment Familiarity with sublet coordination and specialty vendor management Experience supporting or coordinating with technical staff who bill hourly Background using ClickUp, Shop-Ware, or similar shop management platforms

Open Position: Senior Content Creator

FFR has Instagram and Facebook channels, some content in the world, and clients who love what we do. What’s missing is someone who makes it better — someone with the taste to recognize what’s worth capturing, the craft to capture it well, and the drive to build a body of work that reflects what actually happens in this shop every day.

The biggest opportunity is YouTube. FFR builds and restores cars that deserve to be documented — long-form build series, process documentation, before and after reveals. The right person sees that potential immediately and knows how to develop it into something that builds a national audience over time.

You’ll be in the building every day, you’ll develop a house style — a way of seeing and shooting FFR’s work that becomes distinctly ours. You won’t be explaining what’s interesting to a freelancer on a shoot day. You’ll already know, because you were there when it happened.

The person who thrives here can walk into the shop, spot something genuinely interesting happening on the floor, and know exactly what to do with it. You don’t need to be told what’s cool. You can see it.

Video Production Shoot and edit video content for YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook — build documentation, in-progress work, finished reveals, shop life Launch and grow FFR’s YouTube channel — develop content series (build series, fabrication, engine work) that build a subscriber base and national brand awareness over time Produce a consistent body of work that develops a recognizable house style — distinctly FFR, not generic auto content Plan and capture events — FFR’s Annual Open House, car shows, SEMA, and any vendor or community appearances Photography & Social Photography for all digital channels, client deliverables, and FFR’s restoration portfolio Manage FFR’s Instagram and Facebook accounts day to day — posting, community engagement, responding to DMs Build and manage a content calendar that keeps all channels active, intentional, and improving Monitor what’s working — identify patterns in engagement and double down on what resonates

You’re probably a good fit if: You have real, hands-on experience shooting and editing video — you’ve done it yourself, not just directed others to do it You’ve worked on or contributed to a YouTube channel — you understand what makes people subscribe, come back, and share Your photography is strong enough to make a 1969 Chevelle look the way it deserves to look You write clearly and naturally — short-form copy, captions, and brand voice come easily to you You’re self-directed. You don’t need someone to tell you what to shoot today — you walk in, look around, and get to work You have taste. You know the difference between content that stops the scroll and content that doesn’t, and you consistently produce the former You understand social media not just as a posting schedule but as a way to build a community and a reputation over time You’re excited by the idea of building something — FFR’s brand doesn’t exist yet in the way it should, and that energizes you The background we’re expecting: You’ve been in the content or video world for several years — whether through freelance work, agency projects, YouTube channels, brand work, or some combination of all of it You’re at a point where stability sounds appealing. You’re good at what you do, and you’re ready to put that into something you can actually build and call yours You don’t need to manage a team to feel like the role is worth having — the doing is what drives you Cars are a plus, not a requirement: A genuine connection to classic cars, custom builds, or automotive culture will help you see what’s worth capturing and earn credibility with the team fast If cars aren’t your world but craft, quality, and the making of physical things are — you’ll fit right in
